Yes, I noticed and I'm still going to play the original because it doesn't include BattleEye. That "anti-cheat" is extremely invasive and will ruin everything. Also, Rockstar should've just included other updates in the original regardless.

@VenturousGamer Exactly! I'm also going to stick with the original. I remember GTASA being a piece of crap after the remaster.

@VenturousGamer Could you elaborate? Because after most recent Tarkov update, Malwarebytes has been blocking BattleEye from doing a port scan.

@vicmac SteamDB patch notes: "17 September 2024 - Tue - 09:35 - BattlEye for GTA Online". So it was patched in already a while ago. For online it's a requirement, not sure if it's disabled in single player/offline mode.

@MARSM4N yeah true, I remember I had to install it a few months ago on my old pc to play online. So it's better not to use it? Epic has to install it to play online too? Thanks in advance

@vicmac It's just one of many kernel level anti cheat software, installed on hundred of millions gamer PC's. Nothing going to happen if you do not cheat. Or the software getting manipulated by hackers and used against us (pretty unlikely).

@bmurray75 "BattlEye" is an anti-cheat with kernel-based privilages across your computer while you're playing online games. But it's designed to stay regardless if you're playing that way and digs through your files while sending your data.
