it might be you, because you need to have met all the requirements, including having RUN the game first before all of it.

Hrm.. Haven't been able to complete a steam challenge since I've switched to Opera browser... Wonder what setting I need to flip to allow it to work again. Anyone have ideas?

Figured it out. Had to update privacy settings for my Steam profile to show hours played in game. FYI in case someone searches for this issue.
