Not being able to get steam game quest progress When you try to play a free game, the daily quests usually say you need to check that you own it, and won't let you start. Is there a way to fix this? I've found that by playing the game itself for a while, maybe an hour or so allows you to "Start Quest" again. Is that the only way?

Yup once you add the free game into your library it needs to be played for somewhere between 20-60mins(in my case) before you can start the quest.

Having the same issue. The difference is Alienware is recognizing I have the game in my library, but its not counting my hours. I'm having this issue in steam quests and community event

You only really need to run it like 5 minutes. Just to register that you have it. It's waiting for it to register is the issue. Has nothing to do with how long you had started it for. After that, hours are then counted. Again, long wait.

To complete what you've already been told: the minimum time you need to play is 6mn (because that's 0.1h, which is how Steam counts), then you must CLOSE the game before checking/syncing in AWA.

Can confirm, run the game for a while and this it will show up when you sync
