⚡Steam Quests & Community Events FAQ

　Not detecting game/Can't start quest/Can't join event

  • Play the game for 10-60 min or earn an achievement.  Close for 5 min. Retry
  • Add any F2P Game or DLC to force refresh your Steam Library. Retry
  • Remove the game from library and readd it. Retry
  • Set Steam Profile as Public
    • My Profile ➡️ Public
    • Game Details ➡️ Public
    • Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details. ➡️ UNCHECK!
  • If all above didn't work, change your AWA Link Country Prefix
    • Eg. na.alienwarearena.com ➡️ www.alienwarearena.com

　Progress bar no updates after 1 hour (Steam Quests only)

  • Wait 2 or 3 hours max, to see if progress bar is advancing or not.
  • Just in case is it your first time doing Steam Quests (in case you linked wrong Steam account)
    • Yep ➡️ Find Admin to solve Steam account link issue.
    • Nope ➡️ Play a little longer than 1 hour, then logoff-relogin
      　　　　 Wait 1 hour to check if progress bar has advanced or completed.

⚡Time on Site FAQ

  • It's the last entry registered on ARP Log so it'll take a long time to show up there.
    (Give it 8-16 hours)

⚡Watch Twitch FAQ

　I'm watching stream but getting no ARP

  • If you are on Mobile App, switch to Mobile/PC Browser. (Due to mobile app can't load widgets)
  • If you are on Mobile Browser, switch to Desktop View Mode.
  • If you are on PC Browser, scroll down to show the widget.
  • If those still don't work

　Widget "Reached maximum" but Sidebar less ARP

　Widget "Looks like the streamer is offline."

⚡ARP Log FAQ

  • Sometimes due to large amount of events/entries, it'll take a while to be registered on that.
    (Give it 1-6 hours to show up there)

Since many people are having similar issues, so tried to make a megathread likely thread for all issues.

AWA Visual bug, the Steam Quests ARP Gain from Sidebar doesn't reset after a new week, it only affects some people.

Btw, second Steam Quest worked too - I've played TF2 for 80 min, but it took another couple of hours to register here on AWA. Nothing unusual, it is (and was) always late anyway.

Nothing certain about daily yet - yesterday worked and counted almost right away. Today's "Match it" worked - but not credited yet. Hopefully just delay.

But - there's nothing about constant log-off from the site. Issue still exists.
I have to log back in every single time I visit AWA if I close the browser.
I never log off manually, and before there wasn't an issue.
I guess it might be tied with missing ToS issue, which doesn't seem to be resolved yet.

P.S. I will be back on Discord later - RL pressure atm, and computer updates...

ARP Log currently is slowed more than usual on purpose (Based on Admin)

Time on Site will be given as compensation later based on their last update.

So probably expecting many people posting on threads about "How I lose over 1000-3000 ARP" or something likely

I was curious about why I get 8.061 instead of 8.2 as usual, 0.001 is such an awkward nunber

I actually did get the 1000 DRP for the 15th on the Calendar. It's in my AWA My Rewards (says rewarded 2023-08-14) and in my Dell Rewards account. Presumably they'll be able to tell I have it already when it comes time to release it generally.
