SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE will be launching on May 27 on PC via Steam as a free-to-play, digital download exclusive.
 

yoyoyo, 2 more days to go, I am really looking forward to play this game online with my friend and colleague.

gameplay is kinda repetitive, but definitely quite a blast for 30mins during lunch break :)

 

edit: have to pay premium dlc to create party and play with friend online.

I remember playing bomberman as a child on Gameboy in the 90s. i should suck it up a relive some of this nostalgia with super bomberman. Thanks for the heads up and reminder.

It's pretty fun but the loading times are very long. I'd play more of this otherwise.

I wasn’t even aware of this until now, but am kinda disgusted by it. I guess they just have to force Battle Royales into even more games that don’t really make sense?

But what really makes no sense is the $10 “premium” pack that you need to play with friends, and gives you advantageous characters in general.

 

I really wish they could bring back the good bomberman games, I especially loved the DS one that allowed lots of customization of power-ups and rules with tons of stages. But I’d still much rather play Super Bomberman R than this...

This probably isn’t the best game for nostalgia, Super Bomberman R is kind of a Frankenstein of a game... There’s pieces of Bomberman included, but it’s more of a monster in my opinion.

Severely lacking lots of the options it used to have, replacing it with odd, gimmicky characters and the better graphics.
