Your PC is good - but can it run Crysis Remastered?

  • 193

The clock has ticked down to the final hour for PC players to find out if they have a good enough PC to run Crysis Remastered.

The original Crysis from 2007 was a game that looked ahead of its time, but we paid dearly for that look because it was also one of the most demanding PC games in history. So the saying goes, "Yes, but can it run Crysis?" Simply put, the computers we were able to put together at that time could not chew Crysis without problems and it took us at least another two to three years for the hardware to catch up with Crysis.

For the sake of order, here is what Crysis on PC was looking for in its time under the recommended requirements:

  • CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz/Athlon X2 4400+
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB RAM
  • RAM: 2 GB

Graphics cards that have less than a gigabyte of memory, what.

The remaster of Crysis shouldn’t be demanding for today’s terms, but as a joke that question keeps coming back: Can it run Crysis Remastered? An answer to that you can get because the official requirements for the game are publicly available now, and they are like this:

FOR MINIMUM GRAPHICS:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3450 / AMD Ryzen 3
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon 470
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • HDD: 20 GB

RECOMMENDED FOR BRAGING:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7600k / AMD Ryzen 5
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti / AMD Radeon Vega 56
  • RAM: 12GB

So, what's the situation? Is your current configuration worthy of wearing a Nanosuit?
