Heart Broken

Well that sucks, but mistakes happen I guess.  I have purchased over 10 computers from Dell/Alienware and never had that experience.

It did. I just have to wait another 2 weeks while someone else is enjoying my laptop. I don’t see how they could get the other guy to admit or giving back the one they received. It was about $1000 upgrade over what I received. 

This sounds like something that would happen to me! But hey at least you will only appreciate your new laptop even more when it does get to you. Also congrats on your purchase, 2 weeks late or not!

That is my luck too. I was asked to do a survey on the girl that helped me out. It looked like a dating profile. They’re all from India which isn’t a problem, but it had her posing in a portrait picture. Said she enjoyed watching movies. Asked me to rate her performance and if I would buy her a coffee, but her lunch, or give her a physical gift for her efforts. She did well. So I said I’d buy her lunch. If she hooked me up with an apology gift, I’d would‘ve said hook her up with her own gift.

Looks like I have more phone calls to make in the morning. Now the replacement order is showing cancelled. This is the hardest $4,000 I have ever spent. 

Oh my wth dude? The order said cancelled!? I am pretty sure that if all that wasnt happening to you it would be happening to me lol! Only the person who helped me would be named Barbie and she would enjoy bicycling. I wonder if it says cancelled cause they have to send you a whole new system with a different serial number etc. You probably already made your phone calls but I would be requesting, no make that demanding Express Shipping. Like overnight it to me and require picture ID to receive it. I really wish you luck!!! 

Up to 12 people talked to on the phone. Several hours involved. No resolution. I have a case number now. Will he contacted in 24-48 hours.

My guess they’re waiting to receive the laptop I sent back to upgrade it and configure it correctly. I just hope they go over the build sheet and not just change the CPU, because there is more incorrect than just the CPU. They said they’ll be in touch, but need a few days.
