USA: Which state is best to live in and why?

Not american but everyone in the world know that New york and especially Manhatan (As the best part of New york) is the best place to live.

New Hampshire - because of Job

Iowa. Don't fall for the coastal state hype.

Tough for me to pick a place, ive traveled to Raleigh, NC alot for work and like going there.  I guess anywhere that isnt flat would work for me.

definitely not Illinois, we are so far in debt to where whenever someone wins the lottery you just get a fancy IOU note

I live in NYC, lower Manhattan to be exact - NYC is way too pricey to live. The only good thing about living in NYC is that you don't really need a car since 1) every thing is super close and 2) stores are open until late.

But it's still overcrowded and way too expensive to live.  D: 

Been all over the east and west coasts.  My favorite is Oregon because it's very beautiful with four seasons, less humidity and milder weather than the east coast.
