In Metro: Exodus there will be no multiplayer

Executive producer John Bloch and creative director Andrey Prokhorov told Gameinformer portal that in the game Metro: Exodus there will be no multiplayer. The authors noted that they always emphasized the story and the single company.

 

Exit Metro: Exodus is expected in the autumn of 2018 for the platforms PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Previously, the authors told us that the game world will become the largest in the series

Most singleplayer games that add a multiplayer to them don't have a lasting community anyway...and it's not like the Metro series was known for is nice multiplayer while it had only a generic story and setting.

I just hope the games story once again will deliver. :)

I'd rather resources go to making the best single player experience than to tick a box and add multiplayer than no one will really play.
