Oculus Rift has again got cheaper and wants you to use it instead of the monitor
PlayStation VR is no longer the most affordable VR headset on the market. Facebook today again lowered the price of its Oculus Rift, now at 399 US dollars, where it will remain. There are also Touch Controllers and seven free games, including Lucky's Tale, Toybox, Dead and Buried, Dragon Front, Robo Recall Medium and Quill.
The price of Oculus Rift like that in the last eight months has been halved, but if it is still too much to you, Oculus has delivered a separate Oculus Go headset that will be sold at a price of 200 dollars. The device is designed for watching movies, concerts, and social VR apps, and will be available next year.
This VR headset is a sign of the turnaround that Facebook and Oculus are planning to make. Namely, the device will be promoted in the future as a replacement for a classic monitor, and as part of this were announced the software updates and the Oculus Dash interface that will to users enable greater productivity and a new social channel. All this should be available to all Oculus users from the 12th month of this year.
