Sonic Mania is out in the wild and we here at Twinfinite are in love with the retro style gameplay that harkens back to the good ol’ SEGA Genesis days, when the famous blue hedgehog was at his best. If you’re a fan of the 3D Sonic games, then you might have played Sonic Adventure 2, which came out for the Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube. The music in that game is pretty incredible and some of the songs in particular really stood out, and those songs were the raps that were featured in the levels in which you play as the red echidna, Knuckles.

Hunnid Pacent, also known as Hunnid-P, performed the vocals for some of the songs throughout the game, including Knuckles theme song. Hunnid-P has returned with a brand new song just in time to celebrate the release of Sonic Mania. The rap is called K. T. E. Cypher and is a classic freestyle that reminds us all just how much fun Sonic Adventure 2 was; you can listen to that rap right here.
