Prey will get demo before release

Bethesda has announced that all interested will be able to try out the first hour of gameplay of upcoming FPS game Prey. The demo version will be available on the 27/04, but it seems that this will be a temporary offer that you can use only that day. Moreover, the demo will be available only to players on the PS4 or XBO consoles, while the PC version obviously is still being optimized.

Hearing about the demo being exclusively for consoles doesn't bode well for the PC version. I'm suspicious of Prey following the 'release it broken and fix it with patches later for PC' credo in the industry.

Agree with you hbarkas, but if they are releasing demo before the game like in the old days (Dishonored 2 Demo released so late, and also so many developers dont care it) i want to see as a good sign (at least consistant on the Consoles). Prey turned into a Dishonored 2 Clone from afar, at Day One we will see Are we wrong or not :)
