G2A presents its monthly service, the first offer is definitely worth it

  • 61

Sites like G2A.com knew to have a problem with developers such as Ubisoft which did not like their business model for reselling keys. Well, it seems that some other teams do not have any problems with them because the page claims to be in cooperation with the developers managed to organize a big monthly discount action on game bundles.

G2A Deal is their new monthly subscription which through every month you pay a certain amount and receive all discount offered titles in the package. First offer is quite promising because it offers five games in the value of 72 euros for just two euros if you subscribe or three euros if you buy this package only.

In the future subscription amount will about three euros a month, and we can cancel it at any time. Also at this moment on the official website you can buy the first Syberia and its sequel, Lords of the Fallen, DiRT 3 and super interesting Superhot to which is so hard to resist at this price.

nope not falling for third party sites like G2A and gmg. i would rather buy it full price on steam then use them or buy it from the humble bundle so i know where the money goes and games come from

ill let other people support stolen keys and stolen credit cards since there fine if the money goes to thieves and such.

Realy bad offer, Dirt3 was free from Humble since week ago. Supershot is a contested title.... This is not for me atm, let's see it in the futur.

Oh hey, the same scummy tactics that g2a always uses, like the random premium keys packs.

They advertise these "super great offers" with the full price of a game that was either given for free in the past or it was discounted numerous times, but of course they never mention this. They never mention how relevant a game's price is based on their past discounts, they just shove the full price they first launched with like its supposed to be a steal or something.

Let's see:

Syberia was given for free at one point and that's how i even got the game in the first place.

Syberia II was at one point on a 90% discount on steam, 0.99 cents.

Lords of the Fallen is an above average game at best that is a lesser quality version of a Souls game, you have tons of similar games to play that are better than this one.

SUPERHOT is probably the only game worth it, it's a very short FPS with a gimmick that time moves only when you move. Like if you just stop moving, the baddies, bullets and everything also stop moving. It's fun but it's very short and it looks like it's some sort of a prototype compared to an actual game, the full price is not worth it, but the 3 euros is probably worth it for the amount of content the game offers.  Enter the gungeon has like hundreds of passive items, and one of them is this same gimmick where time moves only when you move, so it's not revolutionary or something that blows your mind.

DiRT 3 like Notil78 said, it was given for free on humble bundle not a long time ago.

So i personally think that the offer is not that bad to be honest, SUPERHOT alone is a short fun game that is worth the 3 euros, so it includes the other games if you don't have them, and lords of fallen is not too bad if you don't have anything else to play.

But it's the way they advertise it like they are some sort of discount gods for cutting from the whopping 72 euros to just 3 euros, when in reality all those games are barely worth 20 euros, and that's being generous only because SUPERHOT is recent and it didn't have such a huge discount, and it's not worth its price anyway just because of how short it is, so it boosts like 2/3 of the 20 euro price of the bundle.
