Step Out never completes.
I played the first and second parts. After completion of the Axe Battle, told I'd already played it.
Had not, was first time I'd played it. The Quest shows incomplete.
No ARP earned.

I got 5 for the 1st part. Played the next and it gave me nothing. Shows incomplete on my page. I went back, played step off again and says complete. They really need to fix this site. Long enough.

you probably refreshed the page during the process of giving you an arp after you finished the game. Because it happened to me also when i already finished the game and refresh the page because the loading took so long and got impatient

Would suggest never refresh or close page when it shows your reward or preparing to show it. Once that shows up, DO NOT CLOSE THE PAGE, open a new tab with AWA and see if you got credited or not. If not, just leave the first tab longer.
