Free-To-Play Region lock and Feedback Request

Lunar
  • 6

Hi everyone! It was brought to our attention that the free-to-play game for this week's Steam Quest, "RISK: Global Domination," was not available for all regions. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we will add two free-to-play games for next week.

That being said, I would love to hear which free-to-play game you'd like to see or want to see more of! I may not be able to pick all of them but I would love to hear for feedback!

Any F2P game that is not more than 50gb laugh

THIS. Not a lot of people have unlimited data plans each month to download each game.

How about adding more games that have a “free weekend” play period.

For free to play, I’ll say Path of Exile, Lost Ark, Smite, CS:Go and Crossout. You could also do some free to play games that have recently been released.

"Interstellar!" - Grig, The Last Starfighter

How about driving/racing games? That sort of thing doesn't get much of a look-in amongst all the FPS or platformer titles out there.

  • Trackmania Nations
  • Asphalt
  • World of Warships / Tanks
  • Brawlhala
  • War Thunder

Whichever takes least download, TBH. Even some of the retro-style pixelated stuff like OG Prince of Persia would be a change!

Interstellar

It seems Path of Exile is now available to my country, Indonesia. Previously, it wasn't.

Lost Ark is still unavailable to my country. Please avoid picking this game. I'd appreciate it.

Simple solution, use the ASF program on a desktop or the app Idle Daddy to simulate running the game without actually downloading. There's also the GeForce Now app to cloud play games if they're supported by that, though you'd have to do a couple less than one hour sessions if you're not paying for that service.
