Consoles I understand, for certain games to run, sometimes we need specific kind of consoles of certain generations. For gaming laptops... what's the point of collecting those unless you wish to make a museum of your own?

Kuang Grade Mark Eleven

I'm sporting a HP laptop from 2006 with Win 7. I replaced the harddisk with a SSD and bought a 2 core CPU in Shenzhen for 4 bucks to replace the original single core one. My Windows 7 still gets daily security updates via 0point software.

Major use cases are classic games which have difficulties with Win 10 or aren't working at all and watching YT or browsing the web.

To answer sengda's question: there's a Chinese company building a sleeper pc with top-of-the-line hardware out of your old IBM Thinkpad. How cool is this?

4:3 screen and some games don't run well even on virtual machine.

Up-to-date machine with the old-fashioned outfit, I understand some people are so fond of retro style. Cool enough.

Well well now I see the point. It does make sense.

The old handheld gaming systems, especially the old Sony systems like the PSP series and Vita, though the old Nintendo systems are super classic. There are so many versions and color schemes of each handheld console, that I can't collect them all.  I still kick myself over passing up the chance to buy a Game Boy Micro...
