Street Fighter 1987 - Arcade Longplay with Ryu

  • 8
Street Fighter (ストリートファイター) is a 1987 arcade game developed by Capcom. It is the first competitive fighting game produced by the company and the inaugural game in the Street Fighter series. While it did not achieve the same worldwide popularity as its sequel Street Fighter II when it was first released, the original Street Fighter introduced some of the conventions made standard in later games, such as the six button controls and the use of command based special techniques. My cousin was like the champ of the pizza parlor. Yeah, pizza parlor.... he also figured out how to crack open the machine and click the little metal piece so he had unlimited credits. I was almost cool too, I mean I was the cousin of that one kid with the awesome mullet who could beat anyone at Street Fighter. Well, Street Fighter II apparently! Good to know there was one before it cause it never occured to me that it was Street Fighter II. Capcom... I wonder if they made that one ninja game too? Going to have to look a little further into this. My childhood is all coming back to me! Thanks fish1976!!!
