George R. R. Martin is writing for a video game
This bit of news comes from the latest post on the author's personal blog in which he confirms that he helped write on a Japanese video game. In the post he talks about the ending of HBO's Game of Thrones series, how his book will differ from the show, his future plans as a producer (GRRM is currently working on 5 new shows on HBO, 2 on Hulu and 1 on History Channel) but he has also finally confirmed that he has done some work on an upcoming game:
I’ve consulted on a video game out of Japan
While he doesn't say anything else about the video game or who is involved in its development, we know it will be a Japanese game. There were some rumors that FromSoft's next game will have GRRM as a writer, rumors discussed in a video from YouTuber Spawn Wave.
