With the highly anticipated Borderlands 3, there are already leaks and info about it regarding its content and what to expect about it. Here's all what we know so far about Borderlands 3:
It Is A Video Game
We recently found out that Borderlands 3 is a computer video game. That is already great news, as compared to other mediums of entertainment, you can interact with the crazy world of Pandora. Video Games are a form of entertainment where you interact via different set of hardware with the digital medium, like mouse&keyboard, controller etc. Knowing this will be a video game already sets a positive tone for the game.
It Has Guns
Another great information is that Borderlands 3 will have guns as its main tool in which you set the climax of the story. Guns revolutionized wars as technology rose. The first known definition of a gun appeared in China around AD 1000, known as a bamboo tube using gunpowder to fire a spear. Guns are one of the highest source of controversy around the modern world of today, and Borderlands 3 will allegedly be filled with them.
You Can Loot Those Guns
The guns on Borderlands 3 can be looted! Wow! We found out it has different colors of rarity, and get this: Rarer guns are actually more powerful. That is very good news. Very Good. Rare quality items in RPG's always tend to be the better quality items compared to the common items, where common items are actually worse quality than the better quality rarer ones. Very Nice!
It has Bandits
Yikes! The game will apparently contain the dreaded bandits! Banditry and despoiling was a very common reaction for peasants during times of oppression, where lower qualities of life could lead to marauding. China was the first known country where the rise of banditry would be very prevalent due to the growth of the warlord armies.
It Is a First Person Shooter
Borderlands 3 will apparently be played in the form of a First Person perspective. This sets a very high level of immersion as you yourself are the character you play as. First Person Shooters are games in which you play in the perspective of a First Person. That means that you play in first person. 3rd person video games are games where you play in the perspective of the 3rd person. Meaning the 3rd to the 333 sets of paramounts of 3rds. Very Good News!
What To Expect Further
It is speculated that the game itself will contain a character that is playable. Playable characters are characters in which you can play them yourself. That is a very innovative idea. Instead of actually watching that character do something out of your own control, you can control that character yourself. Not 1, but you can choose between 4 characters to play as! This idea greatly popularized video games as a product of entertainment, as playable characters sets the interactive medium in which defines video games. That is a very great feature to be had in a video game and i'm glad the Borderlands 3 video game contains this feature.
