or your second daily PSA: The Torchlight Frontiers team will be on hand on Twitch to reveal what players will find should they be chosen to play in the forthcoming Alpha 3. "Get into the nitty gritty details on what to expect in Closed Alpha 3 with Tyler and Jared. We'll cover everything big to small, from major new systems to balance changes." The event kicks off on February 28th at 11:00 am Pacific / 2:00 pm Eastern.
Closed Alpha 3 will begin on March 5th and it will begin running 24/7 except for maintenance and updates. The NDA has been lifted and participants can livestream, write, screenshot and share their experiences with the world.
You can expect a full set of patch notes prior to March 5th, but here’s a short summary of significant improvements:
- Frontier Levels have replaced the old Weapon and Armor Skills
- Wardrobes are now available to store your gear collection within your Fort
- New Mapworks features
- Pet equipment slotsÂ
- Expanded Hyvid Frontier area and quests
- New intro experience
- Improved Waypoint system
