Awesome machine and the one I want.

 

Sadly, the New Threadripper isn't on sale now and the basemodel isn't very well equipped and not priced competitively. If only Alienware could extend the November discounts....I contacted them and tried....but to no avail.

If I'm correct, this video is showing the FIRST Threadripper.

In the new Threadripper, the optical drive is now external and therefor the slot for discs isn't there.
