Bayonetta devs are making a new game that will turn the action genre to its head

In the past few years, the Japanese studio Platinum Games has become the leading developer of action games thanks to successful performers such as Bayonetta, Vanquish and NieR: Automata. They also had their misses. but their talent is largely wanted so at the same time they work on a bunch of projects. We know that they're developing Bayonetta 3 exclusively for the Switch console and work on some smaller mobile games. But in their development there is a project that will offer something quite new to the action genre.

At the recent Bitsummit event, head of Platinum Games studio Atsushi Inaba said that in the early stage of development, they have a completely new game that is currently unknown to all the studio's employees. According to him, it is a very innovative title that will turn the action genre to its head. But since development has just begun, do not expect this game to be revealed so soon.
