FTA: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has a serious cheating problem, and it currently involves players getting falsely banned. After a routine update to the game’s anti-cheat system, numerous players claim they can’t log in to the game at all. Luckily, the fine folks at PUBG Corporation are working on a fix.

“PC players, we are aware of a detection logic related bug that occurred after today’s anti-cheat update [that] is temporarily preventing some players from accessing our game,” an official support tweet reads. “Please accept our apologies. We are working on a fix as fast as we can.”

False positives in the anticheat detection is a good way to make your player base angry, good thing they are aware of the problem and are acting fast.

I can already see big chunk of player base going away because of this thing.

This whole PUBG is an example of how it should not be done. Early release before quality and security. A petty that it went this way.

Hopefully it will be fixed. I have not gotten a ban.... yet and hoping that i won't as well.
