New rumors about GTA 6 say that game will have a female character in main role

Rumors about GTA 6 do not stop coming, and most recent come from YouTube channel called TheKnow. It's about a four years old channel with a million base audience that has a history of hits and misses with sharing the rumors about new games, but at a time have found accurate details about Dark Soul 3 before the announcement of this game.

How they claim on the channel, the information about GTA 6 has been told to them by a source close to Rockstar that reveals how the game internally carries the title "Project Americas". The reason for this is supposedly that a part of the game will be played in South America, but most will be dedicated to Vice City which is Rockstar's imitation of Miami.

The second rumor is that there will be one woman amongst playable characters, which would be the first such case for GTA series. If you remember, Rockstar occasionally received a lot of criticism on the display of the female genre in GTA 5, so this might be an attempt to somehow make it up for it.

Otherwise, according to some unofficial statistics, video games with female characters in the main roles are generally sold less than those in which are male heroes. It would be interesting to see if the introduction of a female character as a protagonist has any impact on sales when it comes to one of the best-selling series of the present time.

The third and final rumor that TheKnow shares related to GTA 6 is that we could play the game in early 2022, which is a fairly secure bet, sorta speaking, given Rockstar's habit of postponing the projects.
