If you have never heard of Honor of Kings, it's a popular MOBA title that came out first on smartphones in 2015, but a little later appeared in PC version. In two years, the game has collected about two hundred million registered users, most of them located in Asia. Like all MOBA titles, Honor of Kings is trying to break to the eSports scene, and with this kind of PR they could not get better.

Namely, professional player Zhang Yuchen left his old team AG Super Play and for eight million Chinese Yuans (about one million and two hundred thousand US dollars) went to GK Gaming. Zhang will be able to justify this figure already at the next Los Angeles competition announced this month, and the prize will be slightly lower than half the value of his transfer, five hundred thousand dollars.

His new team, GK Gaming, currently has Overwatch, FIFA and PUBG professional teams and have been impressive in two years of organization. It is only known that from the tournament prize rewards have earned over one million and five hundred thousand dollars.

The trend for mobile eSports competitions is growing from day to day, it is a platform that is more likely accessible to everyone and we hope this is just the beginning of what is waiting for the younger generation that are thinking of trying to compete in mobile gaming.
