Developer of Bayonetta and Nier: Automata wants to issue two of its own IPs
Last year we learned that the famous Japanese team Platinum Games, the creator of Bayonetta and NieR, is planning to release a new game that will own also itself, and it has recently been revealed that it is not just one title but two independent IPs. Namely, executive director and producer Atsushi Inaba said the studio expanded its original vision by including another potential video game, but both projects are for now hiding behind a dense fog.
Furthermore, Inaba stated that they could not "compile an AAA title worth 10 million dollars, because they do not have such a kind of money as an independent developer". So, about 20 people will work on each game, but they do not plan to "turn to the indie road". Of course, Platinum will do a lot in its own way and does not intend to seek ideas from other companies. "For us, the reason because of we want to do this is to motivate the people that work here. We want to give them a chance to make their own video game", concluded Atsushi.
