The Division might get sequel

  • 41

In the third month of last year, Ubisoft has delivered us another new IP located in New York which was devasted by a deadly virus. The Division then picked up diverse ratings, and as it is custom - opinions are still divided about whether it's worth spending time and money on this video game. Regardless of whether you like it or not, the director of a development team who has dragged us into another world that has been affected by the epidemic recently indirectly said that the second part might already be cooking.

"I think this is a wonderful, beautiful brand that in itself keeps so many potential stories. There are many things we did not do in The Division 1, and which look very interesting in that brand", said Director of Massive Entertainment, David Polfeldt. Additionally, he said he definitely thinks "there are plenty of room for continuation beyond what's in regard of The Division Online", pointing out that he can not say too much about it at this point.

Of course, his comment points out that last year's The Division is only the first in line can only come from his desire to again wonders off and creates a somewhat different world from what he introduced to us almost two years ago.

I think The Division had so much potential. Don't know how it is now but better PVE bosses and some tweaks in the dead zone could have made the game more successful . I enjoyed it for a month at launch , glad to see it might return.

Would be pretty surprising if they released another Tom Clancy game.

Here I am, ready to play. Gaming enthusiast without free time to actually play video games but eager to learn anything

I'm pretty sure that if they want they can put all that amazing stories in the division 1 as expansion packs, but they rather prefer to create another game, sell it full price and add "micro"-transactions like in Assasins Creed Origins.

Hope I fail in my predictions.

Ubisoft is ultimately the best company you can rely on to make games with great potential, only to result in a complete buggy as hell underpromised disappointment.

The best talent Ubisoft ever has these days, is their top notch marketing department. They can make even a complete pile of turd (like many of their games recently) be popular as hell on day 1.

My take on this, is that I'd like to still see support/updates of The Division, let at least two years more of the game without announcing sequels, and THEN do it.
Anyhow, I hope The Division 1 won't really die after The Division 2 will be released. Great game.

Yup, lets hope. I really liked the division

Played The Division for about a week or two, wasn't very excited, but maybe the sequel will correct this )
