If you are the owner of AMD's newer graphics cards, be prepared for the adrenaline rush. Namely, from today is available software package Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition, and with it also AMD Link application. The main novelty of this year is overlay which within games enables to track performances during performs, how those software, like that hardware. In overlay are built all the latest technologies such as Radeon ReLive, Chill, Wattman and FRTC.

In the new overlay fits in also a mobile application that besides performance monitoring alone you can capture videos and images, share them online, stream and browse some of the curiosities - and all that without leaving the game on your desktop/laptop. The app is available for smartphones and tablet iOS and Android operating systems.

In addition to these novelties, Adrenaline also brings the so-called Esync that replaces Vsync, or removes the effect of image tearing at unlocked framerate. This technology was available already in the middle of the year, but is now unlocked for cards on older GCN architecture. The lowest profits from all of this are actually owners of new Vega cards which performances have not jumped with adrenaline after this update.

The Radeon overlay is a direct response to the In-game overlay that NVIDIA has in Geforce Experience. It looks stylish and brings more features so that you don't have to leave the game. I like the idea of the mobile app if you don't want to see any FPS overlays on your game like the one Afterburner has. These are good improvements and I'm sure every AMD user will like it. Only if the NVIDIA drivers had detailed GPU stats without the need of 3rd party tools. Plus that color adjustment is also neat.
