- THIS IS A SKILL-BASED COMPETITION.
- NOTE TO ALL MINOR PLAYERS: YOU MUST ASK YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN FOR PERMISSION AND HELP TO ENTER. A MINOR WINNER’S PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRIZE FULFILLMENT PROCESS AND REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE PRIZE ACCEPTANCE DOCUMENTS OR THE PRIZE MAY BE FORFEITED. EACH MINOR PLAYER’S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND ON BEHALF OF MINOR PLAYER.

These official rules (“Official Rules”) set forth the rules and regulations of the Alienware VR Cup Presented by NVIDIA and Oculus (the “Tournament”). iGames, Inc. (“iGames”) is the Tournament administrator (“Administrator” or “iGames”).
Please read these Official Rules carefully before submitting an entry or participating in the Tournament. These Official Rules contain important information about eligibility to enter the Tournament, the rules of the Tournament and other important information. Please note that the rules for playing the game in the Tournament are contained in the “Game Play Rules” located at http://www.alienwarearena.com/vrcup. The Game Play Rules are incorporated herein by this reference. Players (defined below) must be available to play in the Tournament when required by Administrator or the Player may be disqualified, in Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion.
By entering or otherwise participating the Tournament, each Player (and a minor Player’s parent or legal guardian on a minor’s behalf) accept these Official Rules (including the Game Play Rules) and agree to be bound by their terms. If you do not agree with these Official Rules, do not register for the Tournament.
1. Eligibility
The Tournament is open only to individuals who are legal residents of and physically located in the United States and who are thirteen (13) years of age or older as of November 14, 2017 and who properly register for the Tournament (each, a “Player”). Players may be required to show proof of age and residence. For Players under the legal age of majority in their state of residence (which is eighteen (18) in most states but is nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska and twenty-one (21) in Mississippi), you are required to obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Tournament and the parent or legal guardian may be required to verify the granting of consent and/or sign a release at the discretion of iGames. Failure of a Player’s parent or legal guardian to verify consent and/or sign a release will invalidate an Player’s Entry. IF YOU DO NOT SATISFY THESE REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER AND/OR PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT. All Players must have a valid e-mail address and it is Player’s responsibility to update iGames of any change in their e-mail address. Participation in the Tournament is subject to compliance with the requirements specified below. Employees, officers and directors of iGames, Dell Corporation, Oculus VR, LLC, NVIDIA Corporation, Survios, Inc. or any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production, execution, or distribution of the Tournament and their immediate family (i.e., spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings, and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members (people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year) are not eligible to participate or win.
Participation constitutes Player’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and iGames' decisions, including the interpretation of these Official Rules and its exercise of discretion, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Tournament. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Void where prohibited by law.
2. Tournament Play
The Game Play Rules, located at http://www.alienwarearena.com/vrcup specify the specific rules of play for game utilized in the Tournament. The Tournament will consist of competition playing the game Sprint Vector using an Oculus enabled VR gaming system. Players will compete in qualifying races (each a “Qualifier”) at select “Host Locations” on or about November 18-19, 2017 and December 9 – 10, 2017. The top eight (8) winning Players will advance to the championship in Las Vegas, NV (the “Championship”) taking place on or about January 9, 2018. Specific start times for the Qualifiers will be as communicated by each Host Location. If a Player is not able to participate in the Tournament, for any reason, on the date(s) and time(s) as outlined in these Official Rules or the Game Play Rules, the Player will automatically forfeit.
3. Registration Period
Registration for the Tournament shall open on November 14, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and run through 11:59 p.m. PT on December 10, 2017 (“Registration Period”).
4. How to Enter the Tournament
Each Player must register, during the Registration Period, at http://www.alienwarearena.com/vrcup which requires creating a free online Alienware Arena user account or logging into your existing Alienware Arena account. Players must select one (1) of the participating Host Locations to compete in a live Qualifier. Player must be able to compete on site at the selected Host Location. On the Tournament registration page, enter the name of the Host Location in the indicated entry field. There is no fee to register or compete in the Tournament.
Each Host Location will provide up to sixty-four (64) Player registrations. Registrations will be awarded first come-first served, based on the order in which Players register. Players registered beyond the maximum allowed will be considered on a wait list. At the start of the Tournament, should there be additional available spots, they will be awarded in order of the wait list. Players will be allowed to register on site at the Host Location and if no spots are available they will be added to the wait list.
Limit of one (1) Tournament registration per person (regardless of method) will be accepted. Subsequent attempts made by the same individual to submit multiple entries by using multiple or false contact information, accounts or otherwise may result in the Player being disqualified. Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, programmed, robotic or other automated means are void and may be disqualified. Entries that are in excess of the stated limits, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, damaged, destroyed, forged, false, lost, late or misdirected, deceptive or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules may be disqualified from the Tournament at Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Entries submitted by Players who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void. All materials submitted become the physical property of Administrator and will not be returned. The Administrator’s designated database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Tournament. Those who do not follow all of the instructions, provide the required information in their registration form, or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Administrator may be disqualified. The Tournament Entities may run multiple campaigns, contests, sweepstakes or other promotions simultaneously. Entry into one (1) campaign, contest or sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other.
5. Prizes
The top three (3) Players from each Host Location’s Qualifier will be awarded the prizes specified below. Relative placement among the Players will be determined based on the Game Play Rules. All prizes values are in USD.

The top fourteen (14) Players from each of the Host Locations’ Qualifiers will be pooled, and the eight (8) Players with the fastest race times from the Qualifiers, will advance to the Championship and receive the following prize.
· Roundtrip economy/coach airfare for 2 (Player and a guest (which in the case of a minor winner must be the parent or legal guardian of winner)) from a major commercial airport selected by Administrator to Las Vegas, NV.
· A double occupancy room accommodation for two (2) nights at the Golden Nugget Resort (or other hotel selected by Administrator).
· Winner and gust which each receive a food stipend of $100.
· Round trip airport transportation to/from McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas) to the Golden Nugget Resort.
· Transportation from the Golden Nugget Resort to the Championship venue.
The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the trip prize (“Trip Prize”) is $12,400.
The top three (3) Players at the Championship will receive the following prizes.

3rd Place Alienware Aurora desktop with NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 graphics card, Oculus Rift + Touch bundle, Alienware TactX keyboard and Alienware Elite gaming mouse (ARV: $1,774.97)
Trip Prize Terms and Conditions: At least one (1) person traveling (either Player or companion) must be 18 years of age or older; winners must be available to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada the morning of January 8, 2018 and return Wednesday January 10, 2018; a valid credit or debit card will be required to guarantee your room on check in; departure airport will be the nearest major airport as determined by iGames; prize does not include travel to and from the departure airport, personal expenses, incidentals, or food and drink unless otherwise stated, or any other expenses not expressly stated in these Official Rules; all elements of the Trip Prize are subject to availability; if unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered; once confirmed, the prize/travel cannot be amended; prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available; all travelers will require valid photo ID to travel; any necessary visas or insurance are the responsibility of the winner and companions. Actual retail value of Trip Prize may vary depending on point of departure, travel dates and fare/rate fluctuations. If the actual value of the Trip Prize is less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded. All travel arrangements must be made through the Administrator or Administrator’s designee. Certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. The winners of a Trip Prize must travel as and when designated by Administrator or the Trip Prize may be forfeited. The Trip Prize winner and his or her travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary and possess all required travel documents. It is the responsibility of the Trip Prize winner and his or her companion(s) to provide proper documentation (including government issued picture identification). All aspects of the travel portions of the Trip Prize must be conducted on such dates as determined by Administrator in its sole and absolute discretion. The dates of departure and return are subject to change at Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Airline tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles. All airline tickets are subject to flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. Administrator reserves the right to structure travel route and select hotels in their sole and absolute discretion. The Trip Prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules. The round trip air transportation element for the Trip Prize begins and ends at the point of departure. The Trip Prize is subject to seat and hotel availability, as well as Administrator’s terms and conditions generally applicable thereto. If in the judgment of Administrator air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to Trip Prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. The difference in value will not be awarded to the Trip Prize winner. Administrator shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels, venue operators, transportation companies, prize providers or any other persons providing any Trip Prize-related services or accommodations. Administrator is not liable for any missed prize events, opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any transportation or other prize element except at the sole and absolute discretion of Administrator. Additional prize award details and travel information to be provided to the Trip Prize winner at the time of Trip Prize notification. Trip Prize winners and companion(s) are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that Administrator has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Travel companion must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Once a travel companion is selected, he/she may not be substituted, except in Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Tournament, and those set forth by Administrator’s transportation carrier(s) of choice. Lost, stolen or damaged airline tickets, travel vouchers or certificates will not be replaced or exchanged. Transportation carrier and hotel regulations and conditions apply. Travel and lodging are subject to availability, and any changes made to either of these will be at the expense of the Trip Prize winner.
General Prize Terms and Conditions: Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents or substitutions except at Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined in Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Prize details and availability are subject to change and prize provider’s rules and restrictions, and in the event that Administrator is unable to provide the winner with his or her prizes, the Administrator may elect to provide winners with the approximate value of such item in cash or award an alternate prize of comparable or greater value. Prize winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive, regardless of whether they, in whole or in part, are used. The ARV of the prizes is based on available information provided to Administrator and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The winners may be required to provide Administrator with a valid social security number before the prizes will be awarded for tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued in the name of winners, or if a minor in the jurisdiction in which s/he resides, in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, for the actual value of the prizes received. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Prizes, if legitimately claimed, will be awarded. The Tournament Entities are not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen prizes or any prize that is undeliverable or does not reach a winner because of an incorrect or changed address. If a winner does not accept or use the entire prize, the unaccepted or unused part of the prize will be forfeited and the Tournament Entities will have no further obligation with respect to that prize or portion of the prize. No more than the stated prizes will be awarded. The Tournament Entities are not responsible for and winner will not receive the difference, in any, between the actual value of the prizes at the time of award and the stated ARV in these Official Rules or in any Tournament-related correspondence or material. Limit of one (1) prize per person. The total ARV of all prizes awarded in the Tournament is $24,784.90.
6. Notification of Winners
The winning Players will be notified by mail, phone or e-mail, method as determined by iGames, in its sole discretion, within ten (10) days of the end of the Qualifiers. Winners will be required to agree to the Certificate of Eligibility and Release (“Release”), which includes an acceptance of these Official Rules and a release of liability, to the extent permissible by law. Entry into this Tournament constitutes prize winner’s agreement to sign such document. If required by law, the winner will be required to execute all applicable tax releases. The Release and tax release must be provided to iGames within five (5) days of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if any requested document is not returned by the deadline, or if prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable. In such a case, iGames will award the prize to the individual with the Entry with the next highest score. The prize(s) will be delivered within forty-five (45) days of winner being verified. iGames will not deliver a prize to any person other than the winner. Winners, by entering the Tournament, consent to their name and country being disclosed as indicated below. The Tournament Entities are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, damaged, intercepted, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the potential winners, or if potential winner is a minor, for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts of potential winner to provide signed parental or guardian consent. The Tournament Entities are not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in Player’s email account to receive email messages.
7. Use of Information
The information collected to enter the Tournament will be used to contact you if you are chosen to receive a prize. Additionally, Players agree that iGames, Inc. and Dell Corporation, and their agents and assignees may use his or her name, contact information (email, address, phone), alias, game account and image for marketing purposes, to administrate the Tournament and to contact Players regarding promotions related to their products or services. In addition, any such information may be used and disclosed as set forth in the Alienware Arena privacy policy located at http://www.alienwarearena.com/legal/privacy. Please note that by participating in the Tournament and accepting these Official Rules, you acknowledge and accept the use of your data for the purposes set out above and that your personal data may be transferred, transmitted and/or stored in the United States. If you wish to request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at contact@alienwarearena.com. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) business days. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Tournament Entities may document and film and/or live-stream the Tournament, including the Championship, and Player’s participation in the Tournament constitutes his/her consent to such recording by any means, including by taking photographs, video/film recordings, and/or sound recordings. By participating, each Player consents to such activities and grants Tournament Entities and its agencies permission to use, in perpetuity and by any means, the results of such activities for Tournament Entities’ advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Player’s participation and services in connection with such activities shall be deemed a work-made-for-hire for the Tournament Entities, as such term is understood in copyright law.
8. General Release
To the extent permitted by applicable law, iGames, Inc., Dell Corporation, Oculus VR, LLC, NVIDIA Corporation, Survios, Inc., and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Tournament Entities”), and all of their respective officers, directors, agents and employees will not be responsible for any of the following insofar as they are beyond their reasonable control: (a) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or any other computer and communications related malfunctions or failures; (b) any Tournament disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of iGames with the exception of personal injury or death caused by negligence; or (c) any technical or human error such as typographical, printing, or administrative errors in any materials associated with the Tournament. Unless prohibited by applicable law, Players acknowledge that the prizes will be awarded “as is” and that iGames makes no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, concerning a prize or regarding the use, value or enjoyment of the prize.
By entering the Tournament, Players agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold each of the Tournament Entities, and each of their officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives, harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the Tournament or participation in any Tournament-related activity (including, without limitation, travel to/from such activity), or resulting directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Tournament, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.
9. General Terms
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Tournament and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, USA (without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other laws). Each Player agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Tournament or the prize awarded and all issues and questions concerning the validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Santa Clara County, California, USA, and all Players agree to Santa Clara County as the venue for any legal action without regard to conflict of laws doctrine. Some jurisdictions will not recognize the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Santa Clara County, USA, in which case the above clause on jurisdiction may not apply to you.
- Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Tournament and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, never shall include consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, and in no event attorneys’ or experts’ fees. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
- The Tournament is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- iGames reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Tournament, or any part thereof, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond iGames' reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Tournament, or iGames otherwise becomes incapable of running the Tournament as planned, as determined by iGames, in its sole discretion. iGames reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Tournament, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Tournament may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, iGames reserves the right to seek damages from any such persons to the fullest extent permitted by law. iGames’ failure to enforce any terms of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the Release will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Players agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the documents or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Tournament-related materials, privacy policy or terms of use on any website, social media platform or application and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion.

11. Administrator
The Tournament is administrated by iGames, Inc., 2420 E Old Penitentiary Rd., Boise, ID 83712, USA.
Dell Corporation, Oculus VR, LLC, NVIDIA Corporation, Survios, Inc., and their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries are not responsible for the administration or execution of this Tournament.

Game Play Rules
These game play rules (these “Game Play Rules”) set forth the rules of game play for the qualifying Sprint Vector Races at select Host Locations (each a “Qualifier”) and the championship, taking place in Las Vegas, NV (the “Championship”), of the Alienware VR Cup Presented by NVIDIA and Oculus. The Qualifiers and the Championship are together referred to as the “Tournament.” These Game Play Rules are part of the Official Rules located at http://www.alienwarearena.com/vrcup and are incorporated therein. Please read these Game Play Rules carefully before submitting an entry or participating in the Tournament as these Game Play Rules contain important information about the rules and format of the Tournament. The Tournament is administrated by iGames, Inc. (“Administrator”).
1) Definitions
a) Race - One Sprint Vector race on the selected Map.
b) Map – The “Ice” map is the selected for all Races.
c) Player - Any participant who meets the eligibility requirements and properly registers for the Tournament (as explained in the Official Rules).
d) Official - The designated individual(s) presiding over the Tournament and responsible for enforcing these Game Play Rules.
e) Disqualification - The removal of a Player from the Tournament by an Official for violation of either the Official Rules or these Game Play Rules.
f) Forfeit - Surrendering a Race to the opposition, either voluntarily or by the ruling of an Official.
g) Handle - a Player pseudonym used for identification during the Tournament.
h) Disconnect - When a Player drops unexpectedly from a Race due to connectivity issues.
i) Penalty - A punishment enforced by an Official to a Player for a violation of the these Game Play Rules.
j) Warning - A verbal or written indication from an Official to a Player that continued or subsequent actions could result in a Penalty.
2) Tournament Structure
The Tournament will consist of competition playing the game Sprint Vector using an Oculus Rift enabled VR gaming system. Players will compete in the Qualifiers at the Host Locations. The top three (3) winners from each of the Qualifiers will receive the prizes as listed in the Official Rules. The top fourteen (14) Players from each of the Host Locations’ Qualifiers will be pooled, and the eight (8) Players with the fastest race times from the Qualifiers, will advance to the Championship and receive the prizes as listed in the Official Rules.
3) Race Play
a) Registration is as specified in the Official Rules and Qualifier dates and times at the Host Locations are listed at http://www.alienwarearena.com/vrcup. Race times for the Championship will be communicated directly to participating Players.
b) During the Qualifiers, Players will be assigned their Race time and opponent, first-come, first-served based on Player checking in with the Official. Failure to check in at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to Race time may result in automatic disqualification and replacement of a new Player in the Official’s sole and absolute discretion.
c) Two (2) Players will play Sprint Vector and compete in a head to head Race.
d) Each Player’s time will be posted to the leaderboard and will be recorded by an Official as that Player’s Race time. (Each Player’s Race time is an entry; Players are not eliminated by losing to the Player they have been paired to race against.)
e) Players may play additional Races if time permits as determined by an Official.
f) All Races will be tracked by the Game’s internal scoring and winner determination system and will be deemed the official result for all purposes of this Tournament.
4) Race Settings
The settings for all Tournament Races are as follows:
a) The Official will assign each Player as host or client. The Player acting as the host will select “host game” through the admin panel. The Player acting as the client will select “join server” once the Hosts server has populated.
b) When both Players are in the same server, the host player must select “Ice” as the highlighted Map selection and then the host must click “start race.”
c) After the Race, Host and Client Players select the “disconnect” button in the admin panel.
d) Stalemate: In the case of a stalemate to determine a winner between two (2) Players at the same Host Location, where each Player recorded the same Race time, the Race must be replayed in full.
e) Race Delays: A Race may be delayed from starting only if so directed by an Official, or preceding Races are incomplete, or if a Player is encountering technical difficulties and is in contact with an Official to have their issue resolved. Under no other circumstances will a Race delay be accepted, including, but not limited to, personal emergencies.
5) Sportsmanship
All Players will be required to uphold and observe a universal level of sportsmanship. Unsportsmanlike conduct includes, but is not limited to, racism, use of profanity, rude acts, vulgar acts, acts of belligerence, and disrespect of an Official.
Unsportsmanlike conduct may be disputed and may be grounds for Warnings and Penalties, up to and including Player Disqualification by an Official. Rulings on unsportsmanlike actions are subject to the Official’s interpretation and assessment of seriousness. If a Player is found in violation of this rule the following actions may happen:
· Minor infractions as judged by an Official: Warning
· Severe infractions or repeat minor infractions as judged by an Official: Disqualification
Any accusations of unsportsmanlike conduct by a Player must be brought to the attention of an Official by filing a dispute immediately following the Race in which the alleged action has occurred for investigation by a presiding Official. The decisions of the Officials in all matters relating to the Races are entirely at their discretion and no correspondence or debate will be entered into with Players with regard to any Official’s decision. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Tournament, or whom iGames believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage may be Disqualified.
6) Players who fail to show up at their Race time will be automatically disqualified from participation and an Official may choose an alternative Player from the waiting list to take a person’s place, in its sole and absolute discretion. To the extent any Race encounters a technical malfunction during Race play, Official reserves the right to start the Race over or otherwise terminate the Tournament, in its sole discretion.
7) Game Accounts/ID
All Players will utilize an Oculus account and equipment provided by the Host Location. Once a Player’s Race has finished, an Official will post Player’s Alienware Arena username and Race time on the leaderboard.
8) Race Crashes & Player Disconnects
If a Disconnect takes place during a Race, the Player(s) will be teleported back to the race starting area. If this happens, the other Player (unless both are Disconnected), should finish the race. The Disconnected Player can then reconnect and start again. If a Player is unable to reconnect within five (5) minutes, the fastest time prior to the Disconnect will be recorded as the official Race time for such Player. If time permits, the Player will be allowed to race again. If no time permits, and no time was recorded for the Player, the Player will be disqualified.
9) Game Environment Requirements
The game environment consists of any and all files used to control or play the game. The use of any third-party application and/or program to influence or manipulate the game environment is strictly prohibited, including the use of third-party tools, graphics, textures, models, sounds, HUDs, pointers, or any other alterations. Any violations that are deemed by an Official to potentially provide a competitive advantage will result in a Disqualification of offending Players.
10) Race Media Coverage Guidelines
Administrator reserves the right to film Players, record Race play and utilize Race broadcasting which may include any and all media and manners (now or hereafter known), worldwide and in perpetuity, including as further set forth in the Official Rules, without notice, compensation or right of approval. By registering for the Tournament, each Player consents to allow the Race game play (computer screen images) and Player’s real name and Handle to be used in any and all media and manners and all distribution channels as determined by iGames in its sole discretion.
11) Game Exploits and Violations
It is illegal to intentionally utilize any game exploits for the purpose of generating a competitive advantage. Officials have discretion to determine the intention and extent of the violation and Penalty. Hacking in any form is considered a violation of these Game Play Rules and will result in immediate Player Disqualification. Hacking includes, but is not limited to, map hacks, unit hacks, or any third-party program not deemed legal by an Official.
12) Contacting Officials
Officials will be available on-site at each Host Location during the Qualifiers and on-site at the Championship.
13) Exploitation of Rules
If a Player attempts to manipulate or exploit these Game Play Rules in any way other than for its intended use, Officials reserve the right to make a final ruling on the rule in question for the given Race and\or dispute.
