BLACK DESERT ONLINE: HALLOWEEN UPDATE
The latest update to Black Desert Online brings new content that unleashes the full potential of all MMORPG classes with new weapons and abilities: Awakening. With the novelty, players from level 56 can start a sequence of missions that, when completed, unlock the awakened form of the characters.
After Awakening, a new set of weapons and abilities are added to the player's current arsenal, being able to switch freely between regular and awakened forms during combat. Depending on the class, the style of play may change completely. The Hunter, for example, who uses bow and arrows, uses two daggers, while the Valkyrie, who in the regular version uses a short sword, starts to fight with a large spear.
In addition, Black Desert Online is also hosting a series of other Halloween events. By 31st October, players can receive missions that reward them with a Halloween-themed Elmo look. A Field Boss, powerful and ferocious monster named Isabella, will also appear in the game to scare the players during the days before the date. Adventurers will have to work together to defeat her and conquer a Pumpkin Gift Box, Halloween Pumpkin Cracker and many other items.
The arrival of the Awakening mode also brings its own events. The first one allows players to get their weapons woken up as they reach level 53 and exchange a coupon with NPC Tulem. Two other events will reward players with up to 5,000 BDCoins: the first will require participants to complete the Awakening mission at level 56 and will guarantee BDCoins for the top 50 who complete the mission. The second event concerns the purchase of costumes, in which case the first 33 winners will be awarded.
