Dauntless Founder's Alpha date announced

The guys from Phoenix Labs kept it pretty quiet at E3 with their f2p-coop-action-rpg Dauntless. It has been in the so called technical alpha for +- 2 months. In which selected community members based on their hardware configuration, proximity to alpha server, gaming experience, schedule were able to test and give feedback on balancing, bugstomping, testing of the online infrastructure, etc.

Until Jesse Houston(Executive Producer) and Ian Tornay(Community Manager) finally dropped the date of the much anticipated Founder's Alpha on 18.08. Granting a larger part of the community access to experience the current state of the game and give indepth feedback.

In addition to that the NDA that's been in place for the technical Alpha is getting dropped at that same date.

As if that's not enough they also announced their "Dauntless Content Creator Partner Program". Content Creators can apply to get exclusive access to tools and more to support the creation of the best content possible.

The Closed Beta will start presumably on 25.08. A date for the Open Beta is unknown, however we can expect it to be in Q4 2017.

Not sure if it's just me, but it looks like there is something missing..

I don't know, maybe the environment/world wasn't really appealing to me..

Trailer looks good! Let's hope the game can live up to expectations! :D

Interstellar

Being co-op means I'll definitely try it (especially since it won't cost anything to try).

Coop is always a good thing! :)

Graphics though are not amazing. It looks like it was designed with cel shading in mind, but they changed idea mid development :/
