HP introduced The Omen X Compact Desktop - a back-up PC for VR

Last year, HP introduced an interesting concept - a full-fledged PC for VR-entertainment, which can be worn as a backpack. The device was very interesting - the lack of a large number of wires, modularity and the ability to quickly replace batteries, each of which gave an hour of work. Then the company wanted to know the opinion of potential buyers and hear criticism to add new functions to the gadget.
A year later, HP finally introduced the completed version of The Omen X Compact Desktop, replacing the design of the device and improving its characteristics. It became thinner and lighter, replaced the GTX 980 Ti on the GTX 1080 and got the i7 processor of the latest Intel model. The biggest innovation was the docking station, with which you can turn The Omen X into a full-fledged desktop PC - removed, installed and used.
The price of the device, which will be released in July, starts from 2.5 thousand dollars, the price of accessories - from $ 600. The pleasure is not cheap, but The Omen X was initially more aimed at buying by development companies for VR than for ordinary players.
