This fan animated series Warhammer 40k will make you shiver

This animated mini-series is not only perfectly set and edited, but also represents an unusual style, different from anything you could see in the gloomy setting of Warhammer 40k.

Helsreach - the work of the animator Richard Boylan, based on the novel of the same name by Aaron Dembski-Bowden. The series follows the chapter on the Black Templar from Space Marines hurrying to protect the planet Armageddon from the invasion of the Orcs.

For authenticity, Richard used a record from an audio book, the voice in which is ideal for the chosen visual style.

While there are three episodes, the fourth one is on the way.

That's really impressive, interesting style too.   I can only imagine how much work must have gone into that

Very cool and well done ... congratulations to those who produced

Warhammer 40k is like the most abused story interpretation i've seen. Most of game or movie interpretation are just not that good.

The fact that these fanmade animations like this one for example:

Are soo god damn good, that it just shows how much of a fan these guys are of the warhammer 40k lore, and they clearly display it with their well made fan interpretations. Game devs and movie companies are only making it to get their profit and they just don't fully understand how to translate the lore.

Hell, even parodies like these:

Are so much more better than most Warhammer 40k titles out there.
