As the site continues to grow, and people continue to level, we will constantly get new people in here. We've had a pretty good reputation in this section, and if we want to have it remain, we need to make sure the system is honest. For the most part, the majority of community giveaways have been respectful, clean and prizes have been delivered as promised. However, we have been finding a few that are trying to scam the system for upvotes by not providing any prize at the end of their giveaway.

For everyone who creates a giveaway, please refer to the Rules and Responsibilities. You must comply with those rules, including, having an end date and editing your post with the winner. If you fail to give notice of the winning recipient, we will be forced to penalize your account and remove you from this section.

Furthermore, we highly encourage everyone who participates in giveaways to report any accounts that are not rewarding the prizes promised. You can PM myself or any mod on the site. As well, you can email contact@alienwarearena.com.

If there are like many pages of comments with "I'm in"-s and the op makes up a random username (not existing one) as the winner, will someone run through the comments to check it?

We try, but we can't guarantee we will get them all. There are a lot of giveaways moving at a time. That's why we ask the community to help police the giveaways. Especially the ones they enter themselves.

That is ok Cartire ,but how we can proof here that the games are delivered ? I sent PM to winners and they responded me also in PM ?

Start by clearly identifying the winner by editing your OP when the winner is picked. We wont always, but occasionally, we'll contact them to make sure delivery was made. As well, this lets everyone else know who won and that the giveaway is over. We find that our members are pretty good at informing of us of foul play when someone is trying to game this system. Everyone likes free stuff, but when a lot of it becomes fake, it all goes away and no one gets anything.

This a nice idea. But the problem with steamgifts, and that's why I decided not to use it. It's that a lot of guys can't create their accounts, cause they don't fill the requirements. So we are going to exclude a great part of the community. So we might try to think in another solution or option like steamgifts.

What I'm doing is after randomly picking the winner. I announce the winner by Quoting his comment. Maybe we can do something like that obligatory.

Is it true that the Giveaway section on here has bots for collecting steam keys? I'm just wondering because other random people have said it before without any actual proof.
