Where is my privacy? Senate votes to let ISPs sell your web browsing history!
On March 23, 2017, the U.S. Senate vote to eliminate broadband privacy rules that would have required ISPs to get consumers' explicit consent before selling or sharing Web browsing data and other private information with advertisers and other companies.
Should you care?Â
Probably, I mean they know what you searching and doing on the internet and your only method to avoid this is by getting a VPN.Â
What is VPN?
A VPN or Virtual Private Network is a method used to add security and privacy to private and public networks, like WiFi Hotspots and the Internet. VPNs are most often used by corporations to protect sensitive data.
However, you would likely pay around $5-20 a month just for the VPN service. Hell, who know if they would allow VPN service to sell their info as well. Now, this would be an interesting thing to keep in mind.
