Marvel and Square Enix have announced collaboration on Avengers franchise

Marvel superheroes and their opponents for years collaborated with different companies such as Sony, Activision and Sega, but unlike their film engagement in the world of video games are not for some time had a notable appearance. That could change in the near future because more different games on team Avengers are coming, and it is going to be directed by the creators of Tomb Raider and Deus Ex.

Big news were shared by Marvel and Square Enix who today revealed their business cooperation. Although were no announcements on any specific project, we got an interesting teaser that suggests three potentially playable Avengers - Iron Man, Thor and Captain America. It is not known how many Avengers games will be covered by this cooperation, but count on at least two - one from Crystal Dynamics team and other from Eidos Montreal.

The first details about the Square Enix games will be unveil in 2018.
