Team Liquid Chases a Five-Peat

Team Liquid's WoW roster is gearing up to defend its Race to World First crown as the next tier goes live. The next race kicks off the week of August 18, 2026, inside The Venomous Abyss, the eight-boss raid debuting in Patch 12.1: The Curse of Ula'tek.

Liquid enters as the reigning four-time champion, having taken down Midnight Falls (L'ura) in April 2026 after roughly 474 pulls in a razor-close battle with Echo. A win in Venomous Abyss would make it five World First titles in a row.

For the first time, fans can follow the race continuously on The Roku Channel via Team Liquid's new 24/7 esports channel, alongside other FAST channels, the usual Twitch broadcasts, pull trackers, and behind-the-scenes coverage.
