Warping - why do i explode when fired upon?

  • 2

So, since titles in tutorial are covered by my team ships icon, I didnt quite catch what and when makes you so fragile when preparing for warp. Can anyone fully explain, please?

Its old line, that space ships are most endangered when jumping/ warping etc. Nothing wrong there. But sometimes enemy warped out under fire, yet i seem to die even when on 50%+ health from few enemy shots.

Does it happen coz enemy hit some part of my ships (engines/ generator, ??) ? Or do i need some specialized module or what?

Thanks a lot for answers guys.

If you try to warp back to home or to the "zones", then you get a "debuff". The debuff is : if some one attacks you when you try to "run" away then the enemy gain 200% damage on you.

Lunar

Did not know exactly how much damage "debuff" you get, but the vulnerability is majorly increased.

Thanks a lot mrhay. Feels like more than 200%. Even when armor is gone, not even 3 ships can kill me so fast (except stealth ambushers).

So no need to aim at some special place on the ship? Warp gives debuff to the whole spacecraft?

Lunar

Yeah that's exactly it, get hit anywhere and you take massive damage.  Add missing armour to that and.. well, very quick death.  Nothing like a leviathan beaming you when you're about to get away, insta kill.  Or any ambush craft..

yeah i hate when i try to warp out and explode guess they want you to try and fight it out
