A (subjectively) much better selection of games this time around, but...yeah, they still aren't charging as much as they probably should and the continue lack of meaningful Tier requirements remains a real bummer. I'd love to imagine they don't feel it's necessary because they've secured a much greater number of keys, but this feels very much like an insta-sold out scenario.
Focusing on the positives though, it's awesome to see them include new releases that aren't just smaller indies, and offering a more robust selection (4 items, with one major AAA title, one highly popular competitive multiplayer game, an awesome newly released indie, and what's sure to be a highly desired DLC for those who play Dead By Daylight). I hope this is indicative of what we can expect in future vaults, because this one recaptures that same excitement I had back when they offered Cyberpunk 2077, Shadow Warrior 3, and Dolmen.
Great selection but tier 1 will be 95% grabbed by bots. I've already seen some traders have multiple copies of games given out in the vault (example, the dead by daylight dating sim). Wish some games could at least be Tier 2 and Tier 3 & even with more fair prices.
I think not using tiers makes sense in terms of getting new people onto the site, but an interesting compromise would be discounting the prices for higher tier members, not a ton, but 250 ARP or something for each tier above what is required.
What should AWA do to get rid of bots and multi accounts:
1- Require phone number added to the account to join giveaways
2- Require a connected unlimited steam account
3- Use captcha for giveaways
4- Just remove refer a friend ARP completely and doublecheck retroactively if the referred friend is the same person
5- Use an algorithm to detect bot like behaviour on accounts
6- Start using higher tier requirements for giveaways
Does anyone know around how many ARP can you gain by logging in everyday the whole month + doing the daily quest and the mini game every day?
Last vault was my first one and spent basically all my ARP also used my boosters so I'm trying to figure out if I can get something from the next vault without boosters.
I'd say if you did do your best and do all the quests, twitch, daily time on site, log in every day, do as many steam quests as possible and use your 2x multiplier effectively I'd say you be comming in at 1400+ ARP every month if doing everything daily, just a rough estimate.
