Any version of Windows before Microsoft changed their business model to the intrusive "maximum spying and data collection" one and all that. Around the same time all that stuff came to light about Bill Gates being best freinds with Jeffrey Epstein :)

I'm banned from using 11 because I only have TPM 1.2 (i5 6500). But it seems that I'm not missing a whole lot. So that's nice.

I started way back in the days of DOS. We made ASCI screens that launched .bat files that sort-of simulated Windows of the day. Then came WFW 3.11, and 95, and 98 SE, Me (for a hot minute -- what crap that was), and XP Pro. This is where it all changed. Pro version available for the home user. Of course we went Pro. I don't remember why. The WINXP Pro Ultimate Black Edition that I had carried a 'customized' boot screen. It carried over to WIN7. Had to have WIN7 Pro because the XP was Pro. Same with WIN10. Has to be Pro because 7 was Pro.

But hey, just Watch This instead.

At this point in time, I am too (3rd gen i7 with the option to add a 1.2 module). Let them work out the bugs. Or we can just continue using win10 lonnnnng after the official death day.

I prefer XPpro but my daily driver is win10. I have no love for win10, other than it just works.

Windows 11 is the new Windows Vista, that is all the feedback you need for your survey, just use Win 10.
