Hello ya'll, just want to say thank you to everyone that got to hang out with us LIVE on our Tech Talk the 17th of September as we spoke to Jonathan Troller (Alienware Graphics Planner) and played some Fall Guys : Ultimate Knockout. We had a blast both gaming and answering some community questions LIVE while showcasing the New NVIDIA RTX 3080 debuting inside the Alienware Aurora R11 that very same day. Do not worry if you missed the stream we are going to recap all the important information down below, so let us get started. On September 17,2020 Alienware launched the New NVIDIA RTX 3080 inside of there flagship desktop the Aurora R11. With completely redesigned thermals, Alienware's custom graphics design based on NVIDIA's 2nd gen RTX architecture features 10mm diameter copper heat pipes with integrated Vapor Chambers. An Alienware first innovative airflow design with positive rear pressure relief and custom Dual Axial Fan Design intended to prioritize graphics performance. 


Redesigned for performance with an obsession around efficiency the result is a graphics card that is more compact than most with a maximum length of 267mm and 118mm height, do keep this in mind when you past Aurora users are looking to upgrade as well.  The graphics card is housed within a 2.5x wide slot-design rated for up to 350 watts of dedicated graphics power, and increase of over 100W than the previous generation.

The RTX 3080 features Dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors, utilizing the standard 12-pin PCIe design. Some key features NVIDIA Ampere will showcase are all new 7nm architecture, Ray Tracing 2.0, DLSS 2.0, NVIDIA Broadcaster and support for RTX voice. The new generation video cards turned out to be very interesting, of the minuses only their high power consumption.
And another small drawback is the fact that at the start of sales a sufficient number of cards were not prepared, Nvidia should have expected that there would be a high demand for them.
