Discover More About the Nintendo Switch New Motion Control

Last week, Nintendo released a teaser about a new Motion Control for the Switch. Today, we finally know what it is all about.

The new  accessories are coming with the release of a new game: Ring Fit Adventure. In this game, the players will have to fight enemies throughout 20 different worlds, using more than 40 different fit skills.

The new Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories that are included with the game respond to the player’s real-world movements, allowing the game to turn them into in-game actions, like jogging in place to move your character through the world using the attached Leg Strap, or squeezing the Ring-Con and turning that strength exercise into powerful attacks.

The goal is to allow the players to feel the movements they're making their characters doing but also to help them work out by exercing everyday while playing. The new experience thus wants to make fitness fun.

Ring Fit Adventure turns a typical adventure game on its head as players squat, press and flex their way through challenges designed for a wide range of body types and levels of fitness experience.

To see this new Ring in action, Nintendo also released a new demonstration video showing all the exercice movements it actually makes your body do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1orju1NsN8

The game will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 18th.

US $79.99 for the game + the accessories tho, I'll wait for Christmas ahah.

that thing in the game looks like a skylander's portal, the one from trap team to be exact, with the "cage" replaced by a motion control, still NICE

Interstellar

From cardboard to plastic that has the Nintendo price tag. I'm sure lots of people will buy it just like they did with Labo.
