The Witcher series, which caused the discussions to split the world in half, was confirmed to be on Netflix in the last three months of 2019. According to the deadline, Ted Sarandos, who served as Chief Content Officer for Netflix, made the official statement at a meeting with shareholders.

Henry Cavill will play the role of Geralt in the series, which will be based on the Witcher series that Andrzej Sapkowski hands off. As you may recall, Sapkowski stated in 2017 that he would remain loyal to the book of adaptation of Netflix: "I am excited by the fact that Netflix makes an adaptation of my stories. They will stick to the source material and my thirty years of work. I am looking forward to bringing these characters together with Netflix."

Here's an interesting description on the Witcher Netflix page: "The witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts."

Ciri (Freya Allan), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Triss (Anna Shaffer) are among the characters that will be in the series.
