I have a really weird situation with my grpahics amplifier, everything was working very well until the psu of my AGA died after some power outage at the house so i replaced it with a Corsair vs 550.. Now i have performance issues which goes away when ever flash my bios !!!??!!! Works for some time, then again suffering from low fps then flash the bios to any version it is fixed..Could any of you pros could tell me what the hell is going on.. i tried this like 6 times and it is the same pattern so unlikely it is coincidence :(  clear.pngclear.pngclear.pngclear.pngclear.png

Risky thing to keep reflashing your GPU bios, especially when you stated you had power issues at the house...

The definite test would be to hook up another GPU to the GA, then find out if there are discrepancies...

My guess is that the power surge that occured may have somewhat caused damage to the GPU, maybe the graphics amplifier unit only...

I'dd say check voltages for anomalies, with and without load. I have no idea if MSI's afterburner would work with that AGA, but it's deffo worth a try.

Oh derp.

Same principle still applies tho.

Power surges may do varying types of damage, depending on what's hit inside of the system.

It would help if you posted what kind of performance drop are you posting about, some specs would be nice too.

i get like 15-20 fps in heaven benchmark before bios reset, after i get 65-70 fps .. if there was a damage on hardware, a bios reset wouldnt be fixing it right? Even temporary !!
