Playground mode for Fortnite was postponed until further notice, but it has returned 50v50

Most Fortnite Battle Royale players are not even aware of the fact that Fortnite originally was made with a PvE campaign called Save the World. The same because of battle royale mode popularity has been neglected for some time, but Epic Games has nevertheless decided to work on it.

Recently, they announced that Fortnite Save the World will receive couple of significant additions. Among them is the Canny Valley, a new desert map that you can see in the picture above. Although battle royale mode players will be disappointed that the new map arrives in Save the World mode, it should be noted that it is not excluded that this area will be used also in a more popular mode in somewhat nearer future.

In addition to the new map, to the game will be added an option of reporting "bad" teammates then new types of enemies. We will see again also Challenge the Horde mode with some new changes, such as an introduction of mini-bosses, then a smaller number of enemy waves.

UPDATE: We know when Fortnite season five starts

Epic Games has revealed when the new, fifth season of the popular Fortnite begins. However, we still do not know what exactly is expected within the same.

Every few months, to the popular Fortnite arrive new thematic contents, or seasons. Last month like that to the game arrived an all-powerful Thanos with his gauntlet of infinity, and Epic Games will have to make some good efforts to outperforms with something new within season 5.

For now we do not yet know what kind of content is waiting for us in season 5, it is speculated that a large part of the map will be destroyed, but now we know at least when the season officially starts. It will take place next month, July 12. To players will until then be easier to win rewards from the Battle Pass because from June 29 to July 2, all Competitive Matches will give 100% more XP points.

Prior to the arrival of the new season, Fortnite this week will receive also new Playground mode as a standalone training ground. Players on a private island can explore, build and have fun with friends that they've invited to the island. Friendly fire will be turned on, so even though this mode is not intended to be competitive, it will allow players to make different symmetrical and asymmetric matches if they want to.

UPDATE: Playground mode for Fortnite was postponed until further notice, but it has returned 50v50

In order to reduce players dissatisfaction due to nonfunctional Playground mode, Epic Games has returned to Fortnite the popular 50v50 format.

Earlier this week, Fortnite got update version 4.5, which to the game added Playground and Final Fight modes. Only a few days later you can not find any of these above modes. Playground mode was written off at the start because it "broke" matchmaking and, therefore, with that also drawn players dissatisfaction.

Meanwhile, it has become apparent that Playground will not return this weekend, which is confirmed by the announcement that we will only know on July 2 when the Playground will be ready again. Until then, players can again enjoy in 50v50 mode, which earlier replaced aforementioned Final Fight with which players were not particularly pleased.

Otherwise, for all Fortnite players currently there is running the Double XP Weekend, so these days you can accelerate progression of your characters.

Making a news post with that grammar kind of made it hard to read for me.

Nonetheless, I upvoted and thank you for the information, please don't take the above personally.
