Fortnite devs for the first year of competitive tournaments are preparing 100 million dollars

Super rich prize pool does not usually mean creating a successful esport scene, but Epic Games certainly plans to attract a large number of competing players with a prize pool preparing for the 2018-2019 season.

Namely, with the $ 100,000,000 that will be distributed through different competitions (and that, we did not put one zero too many), game's devs want to set themselves behind competing gaming in a very significant way. The prize fund certainly belongs to that group, but as they say, their approach will be different, so the developers will be more inclusive and focused on the joy of playing and watching the game. What this means is still unknown.

Also, for the moment there is still no details on which platforms all tournaments will play and nor kind of competitive game structure will be. We will find out this information in the coming weeks, and by then, start practicing and maybe some bucks from Fortnite falls down your pocket.
