Grand Theft Auto 5 is approaching 100 million copies sold

We know that this game is anomaly that's five years after its release selling better than new games and rarely comes down from the top 10 charts of the best-selling titles. But the situation is serious this time because GTA 5 is slowly approaching a nine-digit figure.

According to the financial report by Take-Two Interactive, owned by Rockstar Games, GTA 5 till March 31st sold more than 95 million copies. With it no kind of record was broken, but GTA 5 came to the elite club. Specifically, when GTA 5 reaches a hundred million copies sold, it will only become the third video game in history that's done that after Tetris and Minecraft.

Since sales of Rockstar's game is not falling, it is to be expected that this will happen by the end of 2018.
