So, the only different compared to last year model is they have the color black and a new CPU processor, correct? Why is this new processor is a big deal? It is worth it to upgrade from my Alienware i7 R3?

6 core processor rather than quad core. I want to upgrade my 15R3 but currently broke from the purchase. lol

Dot really see the point to claim warranty just yet to get exchange to i9-8950HK from i7 8720HK and to GTX 1070 from GTX1080 Specially when the display still the same UHD Sharp panel at 60hz refresh LOL .Why is the new command center should be a big deal? I not even installing it at all, its set to red and that it for me. Also the Command Center  is written in bulky .net crap instead of some non frame-worked proper programming language. Also i am not using Windows 10 Pro, kind of upgraded to windows Server 2016 Standard. I did created recovery but its not needed at all as i have main parts replaced already in my R4 like Mainboard, heatsink, full display and then an LCD panel itself because the AUO panel was bleeding and died same morning as i got it. Only one replacement left before they have to offer a full unit  exchange. But not even dell complained that i ditched windows 10 for good. my laptop is just 3 months old and has been service instantly out of box. I would expected better quality for almost £3000. Hope that they changed the three mounting points on the CPU hotplate, and CPU and GPU has its own heatpipes individually instead of these nightmare junk that is in the R4.

So far i am not impressed with preliminary tests i have seen on the net. Well done DELL you built another OOB faulty Alienware. Every dell laptop i have owned in the past years was flawless. But what you doing with Alienware i wonder. The last of my Alienware laptop that i was proud of it was the old M17X-R2 model, indestructible bilt like a tank. Upgradable to hell. I have a GTX680M 4GB, and i7 940XM with 16GB corsair ram. What can we upgrade in the R4/R5 ?? Well except ram and SSD, nothing. When i lift up the LCD on my R2 it is solid no flexing at all, when i lift up the LCD on my R4 (BIG wow) it bends and squeaks and rattles and pops . Also there is no GTX 1080 in the UK yet. My new Latitude 14 Rugged also a solid build no flexing no squeaking , i could probably use it as a weapon just like the old R2. I would say its embarrassing what happened with alienware why the profit more important than quality. Only reason i can be happy and ease because i have a 3 years warranty so anything goes wrong i will have a tech sent out, if there is a shortage of parts, then they will replace it according to current spec / value.
