ASUS, Acer, and Dell seem to be good providers. Look for a monitor with 144hz if you have a powerful graphics card, and it also depends on the kind of graphics card you have. NVIDIA graphics cards work best with G-sync while AMD work with Adaptive/Free-Sync. G-sync is pretty expensive which is the problem. When going down to screen size 27" should be max on 1080p. For good monitors like this, don't expect them to be cheap. Trying to find a monitor with all of the above usually accumulates to $400-$800.

Set a budget list out the features you want and shop around till you find what you want in your price range. More video card means more monitor to take all that graphic push. Brands I like are Dell, ASUS, ACER, and anything with a lot of good reviews (100+). ALWAYS know the return policy. You never know when you get the bum item and need to exchange or just refund. I just bought a AW3418DW. Much coin but no regrets as I have 1080Ti driving it and plan on adding another 1080Ti in summer. A great resource for monitors is TFT central ( http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/ ) More info on monitors than you wanted... Have fun hunting!
