Bayonetta 3 is often mentioned in the Platinum Games offices
Platinum Games have been frequently in the news lately. Sega decided to release a few PC ports from their console hits in a short time, they themselves said that they wanted all their games to work for the PC, and then we learned that they had the opportunity to make their own game, which is a new thing for an independent team that has so far was bounded to publishers.
The latest news comes from an interesting interview with producer Atsushi Inaba with the portal Sourcegaming. He has revealed that they are constantly talking about the next steps, and often about the new Bayonetta game, and do they maybe discuss whether they want to keep the same protagonist or make a turnaround, perhaps even with a male main character.
But, that does not mean that this new own project is Bayonetta 3, because the first game was released by Sega, while the other was funded and exclusively kept by Nintendo, but Inaba was somewhat reluctant by question of making games for Switch. He says he does not want games to adapt to hardware, but hardware to original games, so he does not seem to have specific plans to make game specifically for the Nintendo console.
